Lady Gaga - Marry the Night

Lady Gaga's Marry the Night was a very challenging show to work on. During the shooting of the video, the weather conditions didn't allow the pyrotechnics to work properly and the some of the cars didn't explode. It was our job to ignite them digitally and make it seamless with the cars that did manage to explode. As part of the production, I created masking objects for the flames, such as the station wagon. I also modeled, rigged, and animated Lady Gaga's boots and top in order to create more reflections from the new flames accurately. I then assisted in the rotoscope to matte out Lady Gaga and the other objects on set. The moon wasn't in frame during the shooting of this video. I took a picture of a full moon and tracked it on with the opening shot and created the transition from the church to the night sky.
